Software Update via the internet

The easiest way to install the latest software onto your Olive 4, Olive 4HD or Olive 2 is via an internet connection. To download the software update on your Olive 4, Olive 4HD or Olive 2, simply:


  1. Go to SETTINGS
  2. Select SYSTEM SERVICES
  3. Launch SOFTWARE UPDATE
  4. Choose option NETWORK

The Software Update will automatically install and your Olive 4, Olive 4HD or Olive 2 will restart after this process is complete.


Software update via USB

If you do not have an internet connection and have an Olive 4, Olive 4HD or Olive 2 that came pre-installed with Software 4.0.3 or higher (purchased 10.23.09 or more recently), you can also update the software via a USB stick.

Simply download ONE of the following files and copy it onto a USB stick. The USB stick must be formatted in standard DOS Format (FAT32). Simply copy the file from your download folder to the USB stick. Note that you should not double-click the downloaded file in your computer's download folder.

Proceed with the following:


  1. Go to SETTINGS
  2. Select SYSTEM SERVICES
  3. Launch SOFTWARE UPDATE
  4. Choose option USB
